Philip Richard Krieg, Jr. of Scottsdale, Ariz., passed away from this life unexpectedly on Christmas Eve (Monday, Dec. 24, 2007).

Phil was born Jan. 25, 1948, Le Mars, the son of Philip and Celesta (Featherston) Krieg and was raised on the family farm near Kingsley. He graduated from Kingsley-Pierson High School in 1966. He attended Iowa State University and received his degree from Westmar College in 1970.

Phil married Ann (Ostdiek) Bradish, Nov. 2, 1986, in Kauai, Hawaii. They lived and worked in Omaha, Neb., and moved to Scottsdale, Ariz., in 1987.

He was founder and CEO of Enterprise HealthCare Systems & MDPlus software in the Phoenix area.

Phil's passions were family, friends, business, golf and was an avid classic car buff. He was a loving son, husband, father, brother and grandfather.

Survivors include his wife, Ann; children, Jennifer (Joel) Solis of Snohomish, Wash., Chad Krieg and partner, Shalen Ross, Kyle Bradish and partner, Ben Dallmann, all of Scottsdale; grandchildren, Madison and Kendal Solis; parents, Philip and Celesta (Featherston) Krieg of Kingsley; brothers, John (Karen) of North Pole, Alaska, Ken (Sandy) of Kingsley, Jim (Kathy) of Cedar Falls, and Dave (Shelly) of Kingsley; mother-in-law, Evelyn Ostdiek of Omaha, Neb.; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jim McKernan of Omaha, Neb., Jim (Mary) Ostdiek of Kansas City, Mo., Bob (Laura) Ostdiek of Fremont, Neb., Bill (Barb) Ostdiek, Beth (Mick) Smith, Vikki (Tom) Jaeger of Omaha, Neb., John (Becky) Ostdiek of Denver, Colo., Dennis (Laurie) Ostdiek, Theresa Dulkoski and Laurie (Kevin) Klein of Omaha, Neb., and many nieces and nephews.

He was recently preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Mary McKernan.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 28, at Hansen Desert Hills Chapel, 6500 E. Bell Rd., Scottsdale. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Hansen Desert Hills Chapel.
