She taught Sunday School, was president of Missionary Society, and belonged to Christian Women's Club, the Sunshine Club, and was active in Farm Bureau. Lenora also conducted weekly Bible Studies at area care facilities. She was always willing to play a hymn for anyone to cheer them and lift their spirits.

In her spare time she enjoyed flowers and gardening. Lenora loved people, giving hugs, and spreading the word of God.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of over 60 years George; two sons, Gary and his wife Linda and Gene and his wife Pam, and a daughter Audrey and her husband Ed Dempster, all of Le Mars; grandchildren Lorraine (Dan) Cross of Elkhorn, Neb., Gerald (Carmela) Reeves of Winchester, Ohio, Leita (Randy) Reiter of Le Mars, Greg Reeves of Sioux City, Garret (Sheila) Reeves of Le Mars, Katie (Scott) Pinkelman of Hartington, Neb., Amanda (Jim) Feco of La Mont, Ill., Philip Reeves of Le Mars, Shana (Scott) Gardner of Shawnee, Kan., Trisha Coburn of Osawatomie, Kan.; and 26 great-grandchildren.
