John Medrano about 65, former Merrill and vicinity resident, died last Friday at Hot Springs, S.D., Veterans hospital after a long illness.

He made his home for many years with Richard and Louis Baack. He never married. Only friends survive.

Graveside services were held Wednesday afternoon, July 25th, at the Merrill Hillside Cemetery with Rev. J.M. Rohde officiating.

Mauer Funeral Home were in charge of the arrangements.
