HARRY HAMMOND

Funeral services for Harry Hammond, 55, 1315 S. Helen Street, Sioux City, who died Friday after a heart attack, were at 2:30 p.m. on Monday at the Mauer funeral home in LeMars. Burial was in Hillside Cemetery at Merrill.

Mr. Hammond was born May 2, 1899, in Merrill. He had been employed in Sioux City as a machinist for Albertson & Co.

He married Anna Jensen, December 13, 1921, in Merrill.

Survivors include the widow; a daughter, Mrs. Blanche Brackett of Rome, Georgia; a brother, Fred, of Merrill; two sisters, Mrs. Lillian Hill, of Ceylon, Minn., and Mrs. Clara Lesperance of Chicago, and a grandson.

Mr. Hammond was a member of the American Legion in Merrill and Machinist Union No. 1426 in Sioux City. He was a veteran of the First World War.

He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Nat Hammond, and was preceded in death by his son, Stanley, 6 brothers and 3 sisters.
