From the LeMars Sentinel, Thursday, March 4, 1897, Page 4, Column 6:

Kingsley--Died, at his residence in south Kingsley, on Friday, February 26, George Banebridge (sic--Bainbridge), after an illness of some weeks. Mr. Banebridge (sic) was about seventy-one years of age and had lived on a farm in Elkhorn many years. He gave up farming some years ago and moved to Kingsley. Some time ago Mrs. Banebridge (sic) passed away. Mr. Banebridge (sic) was a man much respected by a large circle of friends and acquaintances and leaves quite a large family of sons and daughters, all grown, to mourn his loss. The funeral took place from the M. E. church on Sunday afternoon and he was buried in the Kingsley cemetery beside his wife.
