From the LeMars Sentinel, Tuesday, July 28, 1908, Page 2, Column 5:

Kingsley--Mrs. Margaret Bainbridge was born at Rowesville, Wis., February 14th, 1863. She was united in marriage to Jos. Bainbridge, April 22, 1886, residing in Wisconsin three years, then with her husband and one child leaving Wisconsin in 1889. They moved to Plymouth county, Iowa, to a farm near Kingsley, where she has since resided with her husband and children up to the time of her death. Four children were born to this union, three girls and a boy, Miss Elizabeth Bainbridge, Mrs. Frank Stevens, of Pierson, Iowa, Miss Bertha Bainbridge and little Elm. Bainbridge, who were all at her bedside at the time of her death. Sister Bainbridge bore her suffering with much patience looking forward to a better resting place, and when one of her brothers was conversing with her about a week ago on being prepared to meet her God, she, in reply to him, said, "I am going to be with Christ which is far better." Mrs. Bainbridge died on Saturday, July 18, 1908, aged forty-five years, five months and seven days. The funeral services were held at Pleasant Grove United Brethren church and interment was in Kingsley cemetery.
