Mrs. Louse Root
Funeral services for Mrs. Louise Root of San Francisco, a former Sioux Cityan who died Thursday in a San Francisco hospital will be Monday in San Francisco. Burial will be at Woodlawn cemetery in San Francisco.
She was married in 1918 to B. L. Root. survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Elaine F. Philips of San Bruno, Cal., Mrs. Virginia B. Nelson of San Francisco, Mrs. Margaret L. Crose[Crase] of Bakersfield, Cal., Mrs. Bonnie Helm of Oakland and Mrs. Eleanor C. Fitzgerald of Corpus Christi, Tex.; a son, Sgt. Gene R. Root of Lawton, Okl.; three sisters, Mrs. Anna L. Gabel of Akron, Ia., Mrs. Cornelia O'Neil of Sioux City and Mrs. Agnes D. Nash of San Francisco.
Mrs. Root was a member of O. E. S. chapter 502 in Morningside. She was a graduate of Central high school.
