EARLY SETTLER TAKEN BY DEATH
Albert Dennler, 68, well known Plymouth county resident, died at his home in Merrill, Saturday night following a lingering illness. He had resided in Merrill the last 22 years.
Mr. Dennler was born in LaPorte, Ind., January 23, 1866, and came with his parents to Plymouth county in 1872. He farmed for many years before making his home in Merrill.
He was married June 24, 1897, to Emma Veidt, who survives him with five children, Arnold Dennler and Mrs. Johnson of Sioux City, Leta Dennler of Yankton, S.D., Lucille Dennler of Westfield, and Beulah at home. He also leaves one sister, Mrs. Mary Heiden of Merrill and three brothers, George and Gus Dennler of Merrill, and E.R. Dennler of Los Angeles, Calif.
The funeral was held Tuesday afternoon with services in the Methodist church at 2 o’clock.
Mr. Dennler was highly respected and esteemed in the community where he lived nearly all his life.
