Bonnie L. Cummings
Bonnie L. Cummings, 71, of Sioux City died Wednesday, Aug. 27, 1997, at the Clarkson Hospital in Omaha, Neb., following complications from heart surgery.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Morningside Church of Christ, with the Rev. Larry D. Lane offici¬ating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. today, with a prayer service at 7 p.m., at Christy, Smith and Hock¬enberry Funeral Home.
Ms. Cummings was born March 5, 1926, in Ply¬mouth County, Iowa, the daughter of Lyle and Violet (Jones) McInnis. She was raised in Plymouth County and Sioux City. She was employed as a child care provider for many years.
She was a member of Morningside Church of Christ.
Survivors include two sons and their wives, Jim and Laurie Ludwigs and Jay and Cheryl Ludwigs, all of Omaha, Neb.; two daughters, Judy Smith of Sioux City and Jodi and her husband James Jennings of Milwaukee, Wis.; her special friend, Ray Wilshire of Sioux City; her mother, Violet Jones of Akron, Iowa; 10 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two brothers and their wives, Lyle and Barb McInnis Jr. of Hawarden, Iowa and Bruce and Rosalind McInnis of Westfield, Iowa; and numer¬ous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father; a sister, Joyce Zalonka; and a son, Tod Ludwigs.
Pallbearers will be Mike Mayfield, Brad Tietz, Jared Ludwigs, Kenneth Smith, Brad McInnis, and J.J. Jennings.
Memorials may be directed to the Crittenton Center.
