Jennie Hamilton Ferguson, 79, of Woodbury Minn., a Plymouth County native, and a former resident, died Jan. 7, 1990, at the home of her daughter in Woodbury.
Funeral was at 3 p.m. Jan. 9, 1990, at the Koch Funeral Home in State College, Pa.
Mrs. Ferguson, the former Jennie Hamilton, was born Feb. 26, 1910, in Liberty Township, Plymouth County, to William and Daisy Alderson Hamilton. She attended school at the Liberty Township Consolidated school before moving to Merrill where she worked as a telephone operator.
Following her marriage to Franklin Ferguson Sept. 24, 1938, in Merrill, she moved to State College, Pa.
Her late husband was a professor at the college in the agriculture department.
Survivors are her two daughters, Delores Logue of North Olmsted, Ohio; and Mary Powers of Woodbury, Minn.; a son, Wayne Ferguson of Ashland, Ore.; three grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren; three sisters, Ruth Holtzen, Sioux City; Arleen Rath of Hinton and Ayleen Clark of Merrill: a brother Wayne Hamilton of Merrill. She was preceded in death by her husband; a daughter, Nancy and a sister and two brothers.
