Memorial Service for Frank M. Coates, 82, will be at 2 p.m. Monday at First Presbyterian Church, S 318 Cedar where he was an elder with Rev. David A. Peterson officiating.
Private burial services (cremation) will be at Greenwood Memorial Terrace with Ball and Dodd Funeral Home South in charge.
Mr. Coates died Friday at his home.
Born in Iowa, he came to Spokane in 1949 and owned and operated a wholesale electronics business retiring in 1969.
Mr. Coates was a member of Rotary Club No. 1 and the Spokane Geological Society.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Opal, one son Kenneth J. Coates of Birmingham, Mich.; one daughter, Carol Jean Walfe[Wolfe] of Seattle, and four grandchildren; three nieces and one Nephew.
The family suggests memorials to First Presbyterian Church or Rotary Community Service.
