C. RICHARD TINDALL

C. Richard Tindall, 84, of LeMars, and formerly of Hemet, Calif., died Monday, June 15, 1992, at Floyd Valley Hospital in LeMars.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church in LeMars with Rev. Dr. George Jennings officiating. Burial will be at the Adaville United Methodist Church Cemetery, rural LeMars. Visitation will be after 2 p.m. Wednesday with the family present 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Mauer-Johnson Funeral Home in LeMars.

Mr. Tindall was born June 1, 1908, at rural LeMars to John David and Amy (Brown) Tindall. He married Mildred L. Jones on Jan. 1, 1931, in LeMars. He worked in purchasing at Douglas Aircraft Company, Santa Monica, Calif., for 31 years.

Survivors include his wife of LeMars; a brother, Dr. Robert Tindall and his wife, Virginia, of Spirit Lake; two sisters, Mildred Hunter of LeMars and Mary White and her husband, Lin, of Santa Clara, Calif.; Mrs. Ferne Tindall [his step-mother] of LeMars; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; [and siblings], J. Clark Tindall; Florence Johnson and Stanley Tindall.
