WAS LIFELONG RESIDENT
OF PLYMOUTH COUNTY

Herbert H. Burnett, 59, of Perry Township passed away Monday evening in his home following several days of illness from heart ailment.

Mr. Burnett was born January 7, 1891, in Plymouth County and had been a lifelong resident here, and following the occupation of farming. He married Clara Doane of Sioux City, March 26, 1913.

Survivors include the widow; a son, Marvin Burnett residing east of Leeds; four daughters, Mrs. Fern Beaulieu of Merrill, Mrs. Grace Trometer and Mrs. Ella Pridie, Hinton, and Mrs. Velma Coon of Fort Jackson, S.C.; eight grandchildren; a brother, Durwood, of Omaha, and two sisters, Mrs. Lula Robertson of Lincoln, Neb., and Mrs. Ida Winham of Sioux Falls. A son, William, died in infancy.

Funeral services will be held this Friday afternoon at 1:30 at the W. Harry Christy funeral home, 711 Myrtle Street, Sioux City, with Rev. Virgil S. Schikell of the Adaville United Brethren Church officiating. Burial will be in the Adaville cemetery.

Pallbearers will be George Kovarna, Harry Kovarna, Oliver Bonnes, Kenneth Trometer, Martin Rosburg and Robert Brownlee.
