STEVEN J. REINHOLDT

Steven J. Reinholdt, rural LeMars, a LeMars native and lifelong resident, died at his home Sunday (Nov. 27, 1988) after a long struggle with cancer.

Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. John's American Lutheran Church in LeMars. Pastor Gary Landsness will officiate and burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens, LeMars.

Friends may call after 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the family present from 2 to 4 p.m. A prayer service will be held at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Reinholdt was born Sept. 12, 1952, in LeMars to Clarence and Dolores Nielsen Reinholdt. He graduated from LeMars Community School and Westmar College.

His marriage to Becky Masuen took place June 14, 1980, at St. James Catholic Church in LeMars.

For the last 8 ½ years he was employed with Farmer’s Coop Elevator of Hinton and Oyens at Oyens and was also involved in a small farming operation.

Survivors are his wife, Becky, LeMars; a son, Jesse, 4, at home; his father, Clarence Reinholdt, LeMars; a brother, Rodney, Hartford, Conn.; and five nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother; his maternal grandparents, John and Herlig Nielsen and his paternal grandparents, August and Anna Reinholdt.
