Mrs. Elsie Darville
A resident of Sioux City for the last 35 years, Mrs. Elsie Darville, 79, Murray apartments, died Tuesday night in a Sioux City hospital following a sickness of three weeks. Mrs. Darville was born in Batavia, Ill., March 21, 1854.
Mrs. Darville was married to George Darville near LeMars in 1869. She came to Sioux City in 1898.
The survivors include five daughters, Mrs. D. J. Murphy, Sioux City; Mrs. O. L. Britton, Tyndall, S. D.; Mrs. J. V. Graves, and Mrs. R. C. Jackson, Inglewood, Cal., and Mrs. T. Torkelson, Seattle; two sons, H. M. Darville, Chicago; L. G. Darville, Sioux City; a half sister, Mrs. Sara Jane Small, Hudson, S. D.; six brothers, T. J. Reeves, Hawarden; M. S. and A. M. Reeves, W. H. Reeves, Pipestone, Minn.; J. M. Reeves, Alberta, Canada, and F. H. Reeves, Wichita.
Mrs. Darville was a member of the Morningside Presbyterian church. The body is at the Christy undertaking parlor.
