MRS. FRANCIS HICKEY

Mrs. Francis (Viola) Hickey, 66, LeMars, died Friday (Sept. 9, 1977) at a Sioux City hospital after a lengthy illness.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Grace Lutheran Church, LeMars. Rev. Allen Brutlag will officiate. Burial will be in Resthaven Cemetery, LeMars, under the direction of Luken-Johnson Funeral Home.

Mrs. Hickey the former Viola Weddingfeld, was born April 30, 1911, at Pender, Neb., to Otto and Emma Gilster Weddingfeld. She was married Aug. 14, 1933, at Norfolk, Neb.

A prayer service will be held at 8:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

The couple lived in the Sioux City area until 1946 when they moved to LeMars.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Grace Lutheran Church, LeMars.

Survivors are her husband; three daughters, Mrs. Merle (Jeanette) Reekers of Sheldon, Mrs. Duane (Arlene) Lang of Citrus Heights, Calif., and Mrs. Ronald (Patricia) Raynor of South Sioux City; four brothers, Wilfred of Pender, Ardell of Norfolk, Leon of Laurel, Neb., and Dale of Morgan Hill, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. Bernie (Irene) Bowers of Winside, Neb., and Mrs. Victor (Evidene) Lase of Gilroy, Calif. There are 2 grandsons, 4 granddaughters, a great granddaughter and a step-grandson.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
