Samuel Woolworth
Samuel H. Woolworth, 84, route 1, Hinton, a prominent farmer in this area, died Sunday at a Sioux City hospital.
Mr. Woolworth was born April 2, 1877, on the farm on which he resided during his lifetime. He retired from active farming a year ago. He married Lillie Burke February 22, 1899, at Leeds.
Survivors include the widow and a sister, Mrs. Rose Savage Hough, of Marysville, Cal.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Anderson Funeral Home, Rev. Harris Hilscher of the Third Presbyterian Church will officiate. Burial will be in Graceland Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers, all nephews, will be Eugene, Lee, Larry and Richard Woolworth and Harvey Huggenberger.
