MRS. CHARLES WAECHTER

Death took Mrs. Charles Waechter, South Sioux City resident, Saturday morning at a Sioux City hospital after a brief illness. She was 80 years old.

Mrs. Waechter became a resident of South Sioux City 39 years ago and had resided there since. She was a member of the Lutheran church.

Born at Bern, Switzerland, she came to the United States more than a half century ago.

Surviving are her husband; three sons, Charles, Herman and Louis, all of South Sioux City; three daughters, Mrs. Mary Hartman of Merrill, Mrs. Mason Antrim and Mrs. Freida Barnett, all of South Sioux City; 25 grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, in Otto Kuks funeral chapel, with Rev. G. Klat officiating. The grandsons were pallbearers, and burial was in the Dakota City, Neb., cemetery.
