Miss Lydia Adler

LeMars, Iowa---Miss Lydia G. Adler, 88, of LeMars, died Tuesday at a LeMars nursing home. [Date of death: May 17, 1977]

Services will be at 10:30 a.m.Friday in the Mauer Funeral Home with the Rev. Denton Ericson officiating. Burial will be in LeMars Memorial Cemetery.

Miss Adler was born Dec. 2, 1888, on a farm near LeMars. She was a graduate of LeMars High School and taught in rural school near LeMars for several years. She also was employed by several stores in LeMars before her retirement to take care of her mother in the early 1950’s.

Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Louise Scott of LeMars, nieces and nephews.
