Hollis B. Wills

Hollis B. Wills, 87, of LeMars, Iowa, died Sunday, December 20, 1992, at The Abbey in LeMars.

Mr. Wills was born November 5, 1905, in Ireton, Iowa, the son of Clyde and Ida (Jones) Wills. He married Dora Kment June 2, 1931, in Dallas, South Dakota. She died December 19, 1984. The couple met in 1930 while homesteading near Dallas. They farmed near Dallas, and near Hawarden before moving to LeMars in 1937, where they continued to farm. Mr. Wills was a longtime LeMars resident. He was a member of the Seney United Methodist church, Farm Bureau and the Plymouth County Fair Board. He served with the Iowa National Guard.

Survivors include two daughters, Phyliss Masters of LeMars and Janice Coulson and her husband, Ken of Placentia, California; a son, Keith Wills of Glendale, Arizona; three sisters, Bernice France, of Ireton, Iowa, Lavon Toenjes of Hawarden, and Beulah Ping and her husband Bob of Ireton; 11 grandchildren, Crissie Rask, Curtis Masters, Rebecca Scoon, Robert Masters, Tim Masters, Jennifer Coulson, Roxanne Clark, Kelly Wills, Craig Wills, Todd Wills, and Paige Wills; and seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Joyce; a son, Dean; and brother, Cecil.
