Life’s End

Mrs. John Mordoff—
Former Resident Dies At Modesto, California

Word has been received here of the death of Mrs. John Mordoff, about 59, of Modesto, Calif. She was the former Irene Cook of LeMars.

Death came Sept. 17, after several months of illness. Services and burial were Sept. 19, at Modesto.

Survivors include her husband; a son and daughter, John Ray of Covena, Calif.; and Mrs. Bill (Mary Lou) Buell of Phoenix, Ariz.; and five grandchildren. Mrs. Martha Albers, LeMars, is Mr. Mordoff’s mother.

Mrs. Mordoff was born in LeMars, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joe Cook. She left here after graduation from LeMars high school.
