ROBERT B. LAKE

Robert B. Lake, 40, a native of LeMars, died May 29, 1976, at La Palma, Calif., after an unexpected heart attack.

Funeral services were held June 2 at Church of Our Fathers, with burial in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Cypress, Calif.

Service was conducted by Rev. Richard Irving of Covenant Presbyterian church, Long Beach.

Mr. Lake was born in LeMars, Feb. 19, 1927, the son of Mr. and Mrs. R. B. Lake, Route 3, LeMars. His parents attended funeral services in California.

Surviving are his wife, Doris; five daughters, Mary Boykin, of Kansas City; Mrs. Patty Hamel of Stockton, Calif.; and Denise, twins Rhonda and Donna, all at home; three grandsons in Kansas City; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. B. Lake, LeMars, and one sister, Mrs. Robert (Sally) Kirkman of DesMoines.

Mr. Lake was a LeMars high school student when he joined the navy and served four years during the Korean war. He received his diploma while in military service.

After his discharge, he worked at Sioux City before moving to California about 20 years ago. He had been employed by Supreme Air, an airconditioning firm.
