The wedding of Miss Laura Jane
Dempster, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
John Dempster, deceased, and Elmer
Featherston, son of Mr. and Mrs. John
Featherston, also of LeMars, were
quietly married this ofternoon in the
Dempster home. Rev. J. W. Davis,
Evangelical minister, performed the
ceremony.

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Tucker attended
the couple. Mrs. Tucker is a
sister of Mrs. Featherston. Following
the wedding, Mr. and Mrs. Featherston
left for Omaha, from where they
will make a short honeymoon trip to
the southwest. On their return they
will make their home on a farm near
Kingsley.

Mrs. Featherston is a native of Plymouth
County. She grew up in LeMars and
attended school here. Later
she entered the government service
and worked in various federal offices.
Previous to her marriage she was connected
with a federal office in California.

The groom is also a Plymouth county
product. He is a registered pharmacist
and has been connected with
a drug store at Kingsley. Both bride
and groom have the sincere good
wishes of family and friends.

Mrs. Featherston wore a suit of tan
Roses. Hat, shoes and gloves were of the
same color tone as the suit.
