Miss Arlene Mansfield, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leo Mansfield, former Merrill residents, now of Sioux City, and Cpl. Loren Casper, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Gorman of Merrill, were united in marriage at St. Joseph's Catholic church in Ellendale, Wednesday morning, at 9 o'clock by the Rev. Zeno Reising.

The bride was attractive in a white satin gown, veil with long train and carried a bridal bouquet of roses. Her bridesmaid, Miss Donna Mansfield, was dressed in blue taffeta and carried an arm bouquet of roses. The groom was attended by his brother, Duane Casper.

Immediately following the ceremony a dinner was served to fifty guests at the Mansfield home. Following a brief trip to the Iowa lakes the groom will return to his station at Camp Gruber, Oklahoma, and the bride will accompany him.

Cpl. Casper has just recently returned from two years duty overseas having participated in the campaigns in Corsica, Italy and Africa. He has more recently been stationed with the 7th Army in France.

Cpl. and Mrs. Casper are both graduates of the Liberty high school and the bride has been employed at the Sioux City Air Base.
