YOUNG PEOPLE EXCHANGE VOWS
Mildred Ahrendsen and Laverne Kurtz Married
November 26.

The marriage of Miss Mildred Ahrendsen, only daughter to Mr. and Mrs. Nis Ahrendsen of Merrill and Laverne E. Kurtz, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Kurtz of Kingsley took place on Wednesday evening, November 26, at 7:30 in the home of Rev. and Mrs. H. Wingert with Rev. Wingert, pastor of the Brethern church of Kingsley performing the ceremony.

Phyllis Kurtz, sister of the groom and Myron Jessen, cousin of the bride, were their attendants.

The bride graduated from the Merrill high school and attended college at Wayne, Neb., and for the past two years has been teaching in rural schools of Plymouth county.

The groom is a well known young farmer of Elkhorn township.

The couple has many friends who unite in wishing them a long and happy married life.

They will live on a farm near Kingsley.

Laverne E. Kurtz, son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Kurtz, of Kingsley, and Miss Mildred Ahrendsen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. N. Ahrendsen, of Merrill, were married Wednesday evening at Kingsley. Rev. H. H. Wingert officiating.
