LeMars Open House May 29

Marshall and Dorothy Keizer Rees celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary Jan. 1, 1994.

Their children and their spouses will hold open house Memorial Day Sunday, May 29, from 2-4:30 p.m. at the LeMars Senior Center.

They married in 1934, at the bride's parents' home in Plymouth County. The couple has resided in Elgin Township their 60 married years and farmed the 75 years old farmstead near Seney for 58 years.

Their children: Donna and Neil Detrick, Cedar Rapids, Marilyn and Mike Wingert, Omaha, Sherry Rees Campbell and Jim Campbell, Battle Creek, Mich., and Claude and Gracia Rees, Greenfield, Iowa.
