GIRL TANK STAR BECOMES BRIDE of WESTFIELD MAN
Miss Ruth Kinleyside Is Married Saturday to Thomas Gant.Among the prettiest of the smaller winter weddings was that of Miss Ruth Kinleyside, of Sioux City, to Thomas Gant, son of Mr. P. Gant, of Westfield, Ia., which was solemnized at the Cathedral of the Epiphany Saturday morning. Only immediate friends and relatives witnessed the service.
The bride was clad in a smart spring tailored suit of navy blue with hat to match and a corsage bouquet of tea roses. Her attendant, Miss Frances Hunter, wore an ensemble dress of blue with hat included. Steve Gant, of Westfield, served as groomsman.
Following the ceremony a wedding breakfast was served at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Kirby, 317 Rebecca street. Mr. and Mrs. Gant will make their home in Westfield after an eastern wedding trip.
The bride is a graduate of Central high school and a member of the Alumnae Hesperian society. She has been one of the active young women in athletic circles in the city, being an expert swimmer. Mr. Gant formerly was a student at St. Ambrose college at Davenport.
