Married in Akron, la., Tuesday morning, February 20, 1906, Bernard Blum and Miss Agnes McGinnis. The ceremony took place at St. Patrick's church in the presence of relatives and quite a large number of friends Father B. K. Hurley administering the impressive Catholic nuptial rites. The bride is a daughter of Thos. McGinnis southeast of town and the groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Blum. Both are worthy and popular young people here and have the sincere wishes of a large circle of friends for their complete future happiness. They left on Tuesday morning amidst a shower of rice on a bridal trip to Montrose, S.D., where relatives of the bride resided. The newly married couple will make a home on a farm east of town.
