Friday, April 16, 1920Louis Smid and Mrs. Susie Clabaugh were united in marriage on Wednesday morning at St. Jospeph’s church in this city. The ceremony took place a half past five and was performed by Rev. J. Theonissen, of Struble, in the presence of a few relatives and friends. The bride and groom were attended by Roy and Genieve Kolker, niece and nephew of the bridegroom. The bride was attired in a traveling dress of dark blue serge with hat and gloves to match. The bride and groom left from there on a brief wedding trip after which they will be at home to their friends in LeMars. The bride and groom are members of pioneer families of this place and have many friends. The bridegroom is employed with the Moore Lumber Company.
