Eugene Cockrell and Connie Kissinger Wed

Eugene Cockrell and Connie Kissinger of this city were married Monday morning at 10 o’clock in St. James rectory, Rev. Father W. B. Bauer performing the ceremony. The bride was attended by her sister, Rita Mae Kemp, and Nick Kellen jr. was groomsman. The bride wore a becoming lavender colored suit with black accessories and corsage bouquet of red roses. The bridesmaid wore a pretty mustard yellow suit, and carried a bouquet of sweet peas and yellow roses. A wedding breakfast was served in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Cockrell, Sr., to the bridal party. The young couple are well known and popular in the younger set. The bridegroom is an apprentice seaman and is at radio school in Minneapolis, Minn. The bride is employed at the LeMars Wholesale Fruit company.
