DOROTHY GRUENER AND ROYAL HAWKINS SAY VOWS IN DES MOINES

Miss Dorothy Gruener, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Gruener of Des Moines, and Royal R. Hawkins, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Hawkins of LeMars, were married Thursday evening, Dec. 27, at the First Evangelical United Brethren church in Des Moines. The Rev. I. L Baumgartner read the service at 8 o’clock.

Mr. Hawkins is a graduate of LeMars high school and Iowa State College, Ames. He is employed by International Business Machines at White Sand, N. M. After a wedding trip, the couple will live at El Paso, Tex.

Attending from LeMars were Mr. and Mrs. Harry Hawkins, Mr. and Mrs. Duane Hawkins, Norris Hawkins and Lorvan Hawkins.
