Golden Event is March 30

Lowell and Margaret Day of 110 Eleventh Street SW, LeMars, will observe their 50th wedding anniversary Saturday, March 30, 1991. They will be honored at a family dinner.

Day and former Margaret Kaiser were married March 30, 1941, in LeMars and are members of the First Baptist Church.

Their children are Lynn and Carol Day of Ft. Leavenworth, Kans., and Randy and Diane Day of Kingsley. They have six grandchildren.

They are longtime LeMars residents and Day has been associated with the Corner Barber Shop over a period of 46 years as both barber and for many years as owner.
