Mr. and Mrs. Chris Beeck shown in a photo by Naef studio the occasion being their 50th wedding anniversary.

The couple will be hosts at Open House at St. Matthew's Lutheran church at Chatsworth on Sunday, March 22 from 2 to 5 p.m. No invitations have been sent and everyone is welcome to attend.

Nita Mangelsen and Chris Beeck were united in marriage at Dennison, Iowa, on March 25, 1909, at the Lutheran church.

Mrs. Christina Beeck, now also of Chatsworth, was bridesmaid and will be present to celebrate the golden anniversary date.

The couple are the parents of seven living children. One child, Chris Jr., is deceased. Their children are: Paul, Edward, Ida, Elsie, Rose, Ella & Lillian. They have 25 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
