September 23, 1913AKRON:
On Saturday at high noon at the home of her parents, Miss Carrie Ringsrud, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ole Ringsrud, was married to Arthur J. Adams, son of L. H. Adams, of Akron, Iowa. Rev. Luther Roseland officiated, using the ring ceremony. The bride wore a pretty gown of white embroidered voile, with Irish crochet trimmings. At three o’clock a course dinner was served at one large table, where the bride’s colors, pink and white, prevailed. Mr. and Mrs. Adams left in the evening for Akron, where the groom is building a fine new house on his farm, two miles southeast of the city. The bride wore a navy blue traveling suit with hat and gloves to match. Mrs. Adams is a graduate of the Elk Point high school and has taught for the past two years near Akron, where she met Mr. Adams.
