CHURCH WEDDING AT REMSEN
Eldon Riter of LeMars Weds Maybelle Schorg

A pretty wedding took place Sunday afternoon at the Lutheran Church in
Remsen, when Miss Maybelle Schorg, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Schorg, of
Remsen, became the bride of Eldon Riter, of LeMars, a son of E. H. Riter, of
Seney. The marriage service was conducted by Rev. A. Nyaacke, the pastor.

The bride was attired in a lovely dress of white satin back crepe with
trimming surmounted by a veil and carried a bouquet of bridal roses. Her
sister, Madeline Schorg, was bridesmaid and wore a pretty dress of lavender
silk with accessories to match The bridegroom was attended by his brother,
Dwight Riter.

A reception was tendered in honor of the young people at the home of the
bride’s parents and a fine wedding dinner served.

The young people will make their home in LeMars which Mr. Riter is employed
with the Penney company. He and his bride are popular members of the younger
set.
