Bray-Veidt Nuptuals

Friends here were surprised last Thursday evening upon receiving announcement cards informing them of the marriage of Miss Bessie L. Bray of Le Mars, to Frank M. Veidt, of this place, the event occuring that afternoon at Le Mars.

The wedding took place shortly after noon at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Bray on Cedar St. Rev. Whitfield, pastor of the First Methodist church officiating. The ceremony was witnessed by relatives of the contracting parties, only.

The bride has lived in Le Mars since childhood and has always taken an active part in the social events of the city. For the past year or two she has been teaching in the public schools of the county and was a splendid success. Frank Veidt, the groom, is also a product of Plymouth County having been born on his father's farm in Liberty township. He is now a successful business man here and is popular among a large circle of acquaintances.

After visiting for a month in the mountain cities of the west they will return to Merrill where they have a pretty and convenient home ready for their occupancy.
