MARTHA GABEL AND ELMER PHILLIPS MARRIED AT ADAVILLE
The Marriage of Miss Martha Gabel and Elmer L. Phillips took place Wednesday afternoon, January 23 at the Adaville U. B. parsonage, Rev. O. O. Hobson officiating. The couple was attended by Alice Gabel, a sister of the bride, and William Phillips, a brother of the groom.
The bride wore a smart suit of navy blue suede velour trimmed with gray fox. Silver gray accessories were worn. After the ceremony a reception was held at the bride's home near Adaville, only immediate relatives attending.
The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Milton Gabel and for the past four years has taught school in Plymouth County. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. S. D. Phillips and is a prominent young farmer of Johnson Township. Both bride and groom are popular in the community in which they reside. They have the good wishes of scores of relatives and friends as they go to their new home near Akron, Ia.
