POPULAR YOUNG COUPLE WEDDED: Gabel-Klomp
BRIDE IS MEMBER OF WELL KNOWN FAMILY LIVING IN PRESTON TOWNSHIP
Word has been received here of the marriage of Miss Faye Gabel, daughter of Ernest Gabel, to Glenn Klomp, son of Richard Klomp, of Holland, Mich., on Monday, February 15.
The couple motored to Elk Point, S.D., where the ceremony was performed by Rev. H. Oakly.
The bride was attired in a beautiful gown of midnight blue flat crepe with accessories to match. A strand of crystals, a gift from the groom, completed her costume. The groom wore a dark brown suit.
The couple were unattended. Mr. and Mrs. L. M. Sampson were witnesses.
At 6 o'clock a four course dinner was served in the home of the bride's aunt, Mrs. C. W. Treptow, of LeMars.
The table centerpiece was a large wedding cake beautifully decorated in pink and white, the bride's chosen colors.
After a brief honeymoon trip to various points in South Dakota, Mr. and Mrs. Klomp will be at home to their friends on a farm south of LeMars.
