Dear All:

I tried to contact the ranch today but no results were obtained. I placed my call about 2 and waited until when I was told so.

This A. M. I went to church and enjoyed the
services. I think I must have dozed off a bit. For dinner I went to a service center and later
called up one soldier acquaintance and we went walking. We took in a show but I did not thoughly enjoy it. Now I am at this place for time to pass.

The temperature must be about 85 degrees now. The peak was 91 degrees and it was indeed very warm. I imagine Iowa is quite warm also. The evening is almost promising a rain and I had not picked my raincoat up when I came. I had big plans on seeing much today but as usual time went too fast.I want to go to the shore and see the real ocean wave. I may also take a rice across the bay to see the harbor effect. I wish you folks could be with me and enjoy the oddities to any plains man.

Well, mother, how are you feeling by now. Let the work sit because it will wait. Take good care of yourself now and don't work. You may as well enjoy yourself. Drop up and I will escort you to my mountain I hiked to and then we will proceed to the Boston Harbor for that little boat
ride. Try to imagine yourselves walking down the narrow sidewalks of Boston and putting your head back to see the roof of the tall buildings. Anyway, imagination is good exercise for gray matter.

I can't think of anymore so Bye Bye

Love,

Wallace

I wrote Harold a letter yesterday.
