Marie Woomer Becomes Bride of Peter Huls
Popular LeMars Young Couple Are United In Marriage Wednesday Morning

The home of Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Woomer, 200 Fourth Avenue NW., was the scene
of a pretty wedding Wednesday morning, when their daughter, Marie, was
united in marriage with Peter Huls, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Huls, of
Washington township. The ceremony took place at 10:30 in the presence of a
few relatives and friends. Rev. J.R. Tumbleson officiated at the service,
using the double ring ceremony. The bride was attired in a dress of rose
lace, cut ankle length with accessories to match and carried a bouquet of
beautiful tea roses. Her bridesmaid, Miss Leona Reemts, wore a pretty dress
of light blue crepe and carried a bouquet of white sweet peas and roses.
Floyd Laughton was groomsman.

Following the service a dinner was served to the eighteen guests. The home
was prettily decorated with summer flowers, pink and white being the
predominant colors.

The bride is a graduate of the LeMars High School and later attended
Teachers College at Cedar Falls. The young people are both well known and
popular in the younger set. The groom has been engaged in farming. The
young people will make their home in LeMars.
