From the Plymouth County, Iowa Marriage Records:
Volume 5, Page 319

License Issued for the Marriage of Conrad T. Kohl and Gertrude Werth on the testimony of Geo. Farrell as to their competent age and condition; said license being in the words and figures following, to-wit:
OFFICE OF CLERK OF DISTRICT COURT
State of Iowa, Plymouth County, ss:

License is hereby granted to any person authorized to solemnize Marriages, according to the laws of said State, to join in Marriage Conrad T. Kohl & Gertrude Werth of the County aforesaid; and the person joining them in Marriage is also required to make due return of the Certificate annexed, to the District Court, within ninety days, of the names of the parties, time and place of Marriage, and by whom solemnized.

IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the seal of said Court, at my office in LeMars in said County, this 5th day of March A. D., 1906.
