"J.W. Strong

J.W. Strong was born in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1832. He came west to Indiana in
1861, to Iowa in 1865, and to Dakota in 1879.

He married Elizabeth Yanney of Ohio at Wessington Hills. They had seven
children: Samuel, Truman, Sarah, Miranda, Elizabeth, Eva M., and David C.
