Mrs. Oscar Bargstrum of Ruthven, 57, passed away Sunday morning, November 6, at 5 o'clock at the Moe hospital in Sioux Falls, S. D., where she had been receiving treatment. Death followed a two weeks illness of neuritis.
Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at two o'clock, at the Norwegian Lutheran church in Ruthven with the Rev. L.O. Wigdahl officiating.
Burial will be made in the Ruthven cemetery.
Mrs. Bargstrum was born In Lisbon, Illinois and came to Iowa In 1893.
She was united in marriage to Oscar Bargstrum in 1895 and they have since resided In the vicinity of Ruthven.
Until 17 years ago, Mr. and Mrs. Bargstrum were engaged in farming. Following their retirement from farm life, they made their home in Ruthven.
Beside her husband, she is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Bertha Rollie of Ruthven and; Mrs. C.O. Williamson of Dodson, Mont, and five brothers, Peter and John Sandvig of Ruthven, Gahard Sandvig of Dodson, Mont, and James and Henry Sandvig of Prosser, Wash.
