H. E. Hauschen, farmer near Emmetsburg, died from blood poisoning caused by a cut from the points of a manure spreader.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he was born July 24, 1864 and died Sept. 30, 1916. He is buried in the Evergreen Cemetery.
