Funeral Rites for Mrs. E. M. O'Neill

Mrs. E. M. O'Neill, 73, former resident of Emmetsburg, passed away at the Gus Fisher home at Graettinger where she was visiting on Thursday of last week. Funeral services were held in St. Thomas church at Emmetsburg Saturday forenoon, with Rev. Thomas Lawless officiating. The remains were interred in St. John's cemetery here. The pallbearers were P. C. Jackman, Bert Montgomery, Ole Haag and Bert Hughes, all of here, and Vesta O'Connor and Charles Nolan, both of Graettinger. The Foy Funeral home was in charge.

The deceased was born in Boston, Mass., in 1866. Her husband passed away 30 years ago. She lived in Emmetsburg until 1937, at which time she went to Estherville to reside at the home of a daughter. She is survived by eight children, Dr. Harry and Dr. Fred of St. Louis, Mo., Mrs. C. V. Pringle of Ringsted, William of Nevada, Ia., Mrs. Dorothy Seerup and Mrs. Frank Browski of Fairmont, Minn., Mrs. Leo Williams and Tom O'Neill of Estherville. There are also 10 grandchildren. Sincere sympathy is extended to the relatives from whom she has been taken.
