JUDGE EDGAR A MORLING
Jurist of Iowa Supreme Court Since 1926 Was New YorkerDES MOINES, Iowa, Oct 16. - Judge Edgar A. Morling of the Iowa Supreme Court died last night. He had been ill for several days. His home was at Emmetsburg. He was 68 years old.
Judge Morling was a native of Boonville, N.Y. He received his LL.B. from the Albany Law School in 1886, and forty-two years later Morningside College of Sioux City, Iowa, made him a Doctor of Laws.
After three years of practice at his birthplace he moved to Emmetsburg, Iowa. He became a Supreme Court judge in 1925. He was a Republican, a Methodist, a Knight Templar and an Odd Fellow. His wife, who was Miss Flora B. Tripp of Cherokee, Iowa, died in 1920. They had several children.
