Loretta B. Fogarty, 92, of West Bend died Sunday, April 2, 2006 at the West Bend Care Center. Services will be held Thursday, April 6, 2006, 10:30 a.m. at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, West Bend with Father Ed Tiedeman officiating and burial will be in the West Bend Cemetery. Visitation was from 4 to 8 Wednesday at the church, where a rosary was recited at 5 p.m. and a parish vigil service held at 7 p.m. Harris Funeral Home of West Bend handled the arrangements.

Loretta Bernadine Reiman, the daughter of John and Josephine (Uhlencamp) Reiman was born August 22, 1913, in Templeton, Iowa where she was raised and educated. On February 1, 1938, she was united in marriage with Joseph Fogarty in Milford, Iowa. The couple lived and farmed in West Bend during their married lives and had lived in town the past forty years.

Survivors include her children: Sister Mary Kathryn Fogarty of LaCrosse, WI, Larry (Karen) Fogarty of West Bend; Elizabeth (Jim) Wilt Cable of Ames, Iowa, Bill Fogarty of Texas, Janet (Rodger) Fehr of Shawnee, Kansas and Barb (Paul) Schmitz of Oelwein, Iowa, thirteen grandchildren and two sisters, Dorothy Montag of Nora Springs and Gertrude Wedel of Spencer, Iowa along with many nieces and nephews.

Loretta was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul's Catholic Church and the Ladies Aid and the CDA of the church, the American Legion Auxiliary, and the Homemaker's Club. Her husband, Joseph, her parents, two brothers, Bernard and Clarence, a sister Clara and her son-in-law Dick Wilt preceded her in death.
