Browns in Clarinda

I have discovered a picture which I believe is of a gentleman named Brown. It appears to be late 19th century, and has the photography studio of Morledge & Chamberlain, opposite New Bank, Clarinda IA. Does anyone know anything of the Clarinda Browns, or the photography studio and when it operated?
