Miss Bertha Pendleton, aged 14, of Shenandoah, died from injuries received in a fall on the ice last winter.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows she was born in 1902 and died July 28, 1916. She is buried in Essex Cemetery in Page County.
