Forrest Fink, age 70, died Saturday, December 27 at the Osceola Community Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, December 30, at the Salem Reformed Church in Little Rock. Rev. Harold Kammeraad will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery in Little Rock with the Walton Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
Forrest Fink, the son of Henry and Dora Schaffer Fink was born in Melvin, on October 26, 1905. On September 28, 1927 he married Margaret Duis at the congregational parsonage in Sibley. In 1929 they moved west of Sibley. He farmed until he retired in 1970. He was a member of the Salem Reformed Church.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret, one son Eldon, of Sibley, one daughter, Merla Jean (Mrs. Merle Dammann) of Spencer; six grandchildren; three sisters, Blanche Lyman of Sibley, Lillian Guertin of Sibley, and Ruby (Mrs. Floyd Heiller) of Sawyer, Minn.; and two brothers, Floyd of Roseville, Calif., and Victor of Melvin.
Preceding him in death were his parents, and two sisters.
